GeeksHosted will not provide names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information on any Subscriber to any third party without prior permission from that Subscriber, or as required under an appropriate court or administrative directive, including a facially valid subpoena, or as necessary to render the Service. GeeksHosted may provide aggregate data on Subscribers to third parties in the operation of GeeksHosted business.

Types of Data collected

Among the types of Personal Data that this Application collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: Cookie and Usage Data.

Other Personal Data collected may be described in other sections of this privacy policy or by dedicated explanation text contextually with the Data collection.

The Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or collected automatically when using this Application.

Any use of Cookies - or of other tracking tools - by this Application or by the owners of third party services used by this Application, unless stated otherwise, serves to identify Users and remember their preferences, for the sole purpose of providing the service required by the User.

Failure to provide certain Personal Data may make it impossible for this Application to provide its services.

The User assumes responsibility for the Personal Data of third parties published or shared through this Application and declares to have the right to communicate or broadcast them, thus relieving the Data Controller of all responsibility.

 

Mode and place of processing the Data

Methods of processing

The Data Controller processes the Data of Users in a proper manner and shall take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.

The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of the site (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. The updated list of these parties may be requested from the Data Controller at any time.

The Data is processed at the Data Controller's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved with the processing are located. For further information, please contact the Data Controller.

Retention time

The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and the User can always request that the Data Controller suspend or remove the data.

The use of the collected Data

The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Application to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes: Remarketing and Behavioral Targeting.

Detailed information on the processing of Personal Data

Personal Data is collected for the following purposes and using the following services:

Art. 1. What information do we collect? How do we collect it? We collect personal data to give you the most enjoyable experience in using our services. We take the vast majority of these data directly from you in the following situations:

- when you create a THCServers client account by ordering a service on our site (billing data that includes your first and last name, address, email, phone); - when ordering a domain, in certain situations (at the request of the registrars responsible for those domains), we also collect personal data; - when you send a message through the contact form or support ticket.

The personal data mentioned above are retrieved and collected with the explicit and unequivocal consent expressed by the free transmission, by informing the purpose for which the data are collected as provided in Art. 1.2 , the Customer or User having the right to withdraw his / her consent.

It should be noted, however, that we are still collecting a series of information by methods that are not as obvious as those mentioned above but which we will explain in the following:

- Customer account information that is collected during the time you use our services (example: account number, purchases, expiration dates etc); - Cookies and similar technologies allow us to identify a partial browsing history, accessed links, purchased services, the type of device you are using, and provide us with information about how you interact with our services. We only use these data to improve the display of content on our site as well as on the services in our offer. Art. 1.3 Who has access to this data?

- SC THC Projects SRL staff - External Accounting Service (only for billing data) - Collaborators (Security Audit, other services strictly related to the functionality of the GeeksHosted platform) - Payment Processors (Coingate, Cardinity, Bitpay, PayPal, PaySafe Card, PerfectMoney) - Registrars of national or international domains (eg RoTLD, Reseller Club and others) - Governmental or civilian, national or international authorities having the object of overseeing compliance with applicable national and international law.

Art. 1.4 How to see, modify and/or delete the information that we have stored

You can access your GeeksHosted client area both for viewing the personal data that we store about you, and for modifying and deleting them.

If you request data to be erased, it will be honored within 30 days, provided these data are not yet used in your relationship with purchased and active services, or if they are not required in other legal situations (tax or prevention and fight against cybercrime, for example).

We abide by commonly accepted standards for taking, storing and securing data, including encryption in certain situations. GeeksHosted keeps this data as necessary to provide you with the services you have purchased, but also for a number of legal reasons, such as: - Under the law, contract, or other similar obligations applicable to our business - To preserve, resolve, defend and enforce our contractual rights - To keep accounting records.
